There are some institutions that are intertwined with history and memories. In 1872, during the Cholera epidemic in Istanbul, two Sister of Charity nun which had come for help from the city of Graz in Austria, began to provide health services in a shed near the Galata Tower.

From this shed which constitutes the basis of our hospital to today, providing a holistic approach to the family, society and individuals in accordance with the principles of serving under a humanist understanding; our hospital continues to maintain patient care by its administration, application and Head Nurse team.

Saint George Austrian Hospital nurses meet the changing health needs of patients, patient rights,  patient and patient relatives' expectations in line with basic nursing concepts. Our nurses are professionals serving in accordiance with international quality standarts.

Hemşirelik Süreci ve Bakım Planı Kullanımı

Hemşirelik süreci; hemşirelik bakımını hastaya özgü planlama, uygulama ve değerlendirme şeklidir. Hemşirelik süreci, bireyin değerlendirilmesiyle başlar. Bireyin var olan ya da olası, farkında olduğu ya da olmadığı sağlık problemlerinin çözümünde kullanılan basamaklar dizisidir. Hasta bakımında hemşirelik süreci kullanımının; kapsamlı bakım verme, bakımın sürekliliğini sağlama, sağlık profesyonelleri arasında iletişim sağlama gibi birçok yararı vardır. Hastanemizde hemşirelik süreci ve bakım planı multidisipliner bir şekilde uygulanır.

Training of Patient and His Family

The training of the patient and his family is one of the main functions of the nurse. Informing and training of our patients and their relatives before, during, and after the treatment are made.

The aim of the trainings is to raise the health level of the individual to the next level and to support the development of correct health behaviors.

In-Service Trainings

Newly recruited employees; General Orientation Trainings are conducted in order to facilitate the adaptation to the institution, to ensure compliance with the organization's mission, vision, quality policies and organizational structure, to inform them about the rules and procedures that will contribute to the success of the team and to improve the sense of belonging.

Nursing adopting trainings are given to all nurses working in our hospital in order to increase their professional knowledge and skills in basic nursing practices, to carry out medical processes effectively and efficiently, to improve patient care services, to follow up with traceable quality indicators and to increase nursing care standards.

Stajyer Eğitimlerimiz

Hemşirelik Hizmetleri olarak çeşitli hemşirelik ve sağlık okulu öğrencilerine staj olanağı sağlayarak hemşirelik mesleğinin gelişimine destek vermekteyiz. Hastanemizde stajını başarı ile tamamlamış öğrenciler arasından seçilenler, hemşire kadrolarımızda görev almakta ve kurumumuzun birer çalışanı olmaktadır.
